Cranstoun Saturday Space
Please see attached poster for our Saturday Sessions that will be starting on Saturday 6th July. I would really appreciate it if you can promote this if you feel appropriate.
This is a service being delivered by Cranstoun Inspire on Saturdays between 2pm – 7pm for the wider recovery community as a space to come and have fun and meet new people or it can be used as a safe space/way to spend time engaging in meaningful activity to eliminate the temptation of using drugs or alcohol. It is open to all Sutton residents in recovery. No structured treatment will be provided at these sessions however should people require some advice or wish to refer whilst in attendance we have our staff and volunteers to help.
A few criteria/additional information:
- People can not be under the influence of drugs or alcohol when attending. They will be asked to leave if staff deem them unsuitable and putting other people’s recovery at risk.
- This is not a crisis service. Not all staff and volunteers working on these days have training to deal with complex needs. We are trying to create a friendly atmosphere where people can relax and have fun.
- No under 18’s even with an accompanying adult.
- Other than a name on entering the building for fire safety reasons no information will be taken from people. Attendance records will be destroyed at the end of each day.
