The police have launched a new initiative called Op CAVELL. There has been an increase in negative behaviour from individuals who do not believe that there is an issue with Covid and have been taking their anger out on health colleagues. The officers who are part of Op CAVELL work towards supporting NHS staff which has led to an increase of prosecutions for those who assault staff members. We are pleased to report that the ongoing presence and support from the police was well received by NHS colleagues.
